Doro Pesch has long been the unclaimed queen of metal. i heard a few people sing praises of warrior soul (2006) to be honest that album did not have the depth that Fear No Evil has. While not nearly as good as 2002's Fight, this harkens back to a heavier time. Where even the ballads are heavier than a lot of the normal fare of metal bands these days. As a whole, the album is a nice change of pace. As for all the songs sounding the same, in any given album some similarity should be expected, but i have no idea what he means here. Maybe it is the fact that in most doro solo albums the variety of sounds is profound. It is only slightly less profound here. The songs in general seem darker and heavier than her normal forte, and for this being her 10th studio album i would like to personally thank her for it. I have never shied away from her softer offerings, even on several occasions basking in what they say and offer. it is her range, be it from dark offerings (Descent with Peter Steele), to the purely lovesick/romantic Save My Soul

Doro Pesch still manages to show her variety in an album that may prove to be her hardest album yet. With offerings like this, I am glad and suprised and gladdened that one of the few artist's in this metal genre has not given up

Its not a bad album but i liked her album before this one a lot more (WARRIOR SOUL). That album had some increible songs on it.
And yes, she is the metal queen. LEE AARON fucked it up making some shit albums in the 90s and LITA FORD with her last album she lost the titel too. DORO FOREVER, FOREVER DORO.
I saw WARLOCK live last summer and that was realy increible. Hope to see DORO solo live again soon too.
