AC/DC's re-release of their gig at Plaza del Toros was a great concert DVD. It was called "No Bull Director's Cut." There was also a pretty decent Thrash documentary called "Get Thrashed" and another known as "Riphouse 151." Not to mention another great one was "Halford Rock In Rio III" and "Twisted Sister Live At The Astoria." Looking back, 2008 was pretty good to Heavy Metal in the DVD department.

I think that I saw maybe ten music DVDs this year and didn't buy any. I have seen the top three on your list. The Maiden one is great and more than I had even hoped for. The NWOBHM one is good and way better than I thought that it would be. It was interesting to see the different views as some people view the movement as a mythic event and some people are realistic and noted that there one some good bands and some crappy ones emerging from that scene.
