Christmas week is finally here, and it’s also the last full week of December 2008, that means it’s time for my year end awards. It’s been another great year for Hard Rock and Heavy Metal and I have listened to more new releases by many different bands in many different genres. I have a huge pile of albums released in 2008 that I have been re-listening to over the last few weeks so I can post my picks for the best and the worst of 2008. I will post those picks along with my top DVD picks, albums I missed in 2007 that could have made my best of 2007 list, and the last CD Scavenger Hunt of the year. I’ve got my eye on 2009 and I already have some new releases to get to, my 3 year Blog-versary, and catching up with 2008.
