I do not think, given Arnel’s seemingly loving, kind nature, that he would ever intentionally go along with the agenda Neal Schon wants to execute, but now Arnel is LOCKED IN contractually and has to do what they want or he will be in breach and sued. He did not know beforehand what Neal had up his sleeve out of pure hatred for Steve Perry.

When Arnel is not singing a famous Steve Perry song, his OWN voice is actually very good. All old Journey fans have really ever wanted is ORIGINALITY on NEW MATERIAL! Those 11 re-recordings were disrespectful in the eyes of Steve Perry fans; which you have to put into perspective to understand. Established singers have a legacy and have built a fan base with certain songs familiar by their voice only. If jimmy Page were to take a virtual stranger from anywhere in the world, US, UK, Ireland, Japan, Italy, France or Rhodesia … and re-record Stairway to Heaven, fans would be furious! They released the 11 re-recorded tracks in with the new stuff in revelations album, but that wasn’t Arnel, it was Neal and it was done with malicious intent; now Arnel bears the brunt unfortunately.

I have been a Journey fan for a long time. I missed SP he was great on his own time. Another great singer is born and it’s his time to shine. I love the new album Revelation we have to purchased 2 of this album. Keep on shining Journey.

I’m not a fan actually of Journey, but i like there new stuffs, frontman & the voice, you can’t beat arnel pineda by saying negatives to him, mahirap dinaanan nyan, sumuot sa butas ng karayom yan! I saw there live in youtube and he’s more aggresive than steve perry, being a band member is not only the voice but the performance also to keep the audience more alive… go for it arnel,,,,Filipino Irish community is supporting you 100%

I have had listened to this CD for the 3rd time. In my first round, I got sucked into the music after the 3rd track and forgotten that they’ve a new frontman and all the nitpick that I’ve read. Really good Journey music and a worthy Album of the Year nominee in Classic Rock Magazine. Super!

Arnel Pineda sounds a lot like Steve Perry and i like it. It’s almost as if we got the old Journey with Steve back. Oeh and i like the songs also ofcourse. Some great tunes in Journey style as we know it. ;-P

wow! im not a rock fanatic nor do i love listening to these songs but damn! journey rocks! AP is awesome! now i appreciate rock music more because of this talented new vocalist.. i am really quiet impressed. wanna hear their songs more.. plus new journey album wosth every of ur penny… nice!!

Just bought Journey’s Revelation Album Europe edition.. I’m just wondering why there’s no dvd in it.. I find it odd Journey with a Filipino frontman.. But can’t complain, that Filipino guy is awesome! I just think he is destined to be Journey’s present and future.. Filipinos I guess are talented singers.. Some of them I’ve heard were in X-factor… Two of them to be exact, a woman and a little kid.. just can’t remember their names.. My biggest regret though is I wasn’t able to watch their concert here in London coz I didn’t know they were here.. Catch you next time Journey!

I was not a Journey fan until i heard the voice of their new lead vocals.It hit me big time,when you play the cd/dvd all you wanted is to replay it all over and over again. What i admire is even some people say bad comments AP remains meek and sings his best in every concert just showing this boy has good breeding! Lets support him instead than trying to put someone down just because of his color.God created as equally the more you put someone down God will i turn put him to a higher ground and you will just be shamed of your comments. Sp is the past he already has a place in history,Arnel is the present and future.Journey has to move on lets respect the group they (esp. Neal) made the best decision in bringing AP to the group ,thanks for giving color to my life once again. To Arnel,give your best, dont be discouraged by the evil thoughts of your detractors,there is something in you that somebody dont have.remember that you have more fans that love and support you. The New Journey, you are simply the BEST!!! Just cant wait when you go global…
