Mark - I remember Raging Slab having the one good tune but I can't remember the rest of the record. The Star Star was a steal, glad to hear you got a good deal too.

Rene - I knew you'd like this post. I finally broke down and bought MASTERCUTOR, I think you have been telling me too buy it for months!

Bob_Vinyl - No love for Lou! I admit, I like me some AOR and that single is pure AOR if I ever heard it! Thank god I found the Night Sun disc.

Rob - Fields Of Yesterday was just re-released by Z Records with a bonus track in the last month or so. As far as the Don Dokken album, I'm a sucker when it comes to bands I used to love back in the day. I figured I'd give it a try but I didn't expect Don to charge $10 for a download and $25 for an actual disc. I wonder if thats the price at his shows?

Bill - We suffered 'Wind Of Change' for years over here so I feel your pain/ It's not that I don't like 'The Zoo' but you just hear it so much that there's no need to revisit it again.

That U.D.O. album was/is pretty damn good I reckon. Haven't listened to it for a while but as I recall there was only one track on it I didn't think much of - certainly worth $7 I'd say!

I'm just gonna have to go and play "The Zoo" now. Not overplayed over here... we seem to have to suffer "Wind Of Change" whenever a radio station plays a Scorps track.

I heard bad things about the Don Dokken solo album. I understand it is pretty mellow stuff. $25 is way overkill for that disc.

I picked up Star Star recently too. I think I found it online for $5.00 and picked it up. I also grabbed a copy of Fields of Yesterday by Lillian Axe.

I remember when this disc came out initially. The local Best Buy had one copy of it. I hesitated to pick it up then, and someone else grabbed it. I could never get another copy of it. It went out of print nearly as fast as it came out the first time.

It's hard to say whether the bigger ripoff will be Don Dokken for $25 or Lou Gramm for $5! I haven't heard the Don Dokken album, but I was never a big Dokken fan. I have the Lou Gramm on vinyl (it came in a batch of records I bought from a store that was going out of business in the mid-90s) and it's awful. Foreigner is good at what they do, but what they do is pretty dull. The solo album makes the band albums look like masterpieces.

It's a shame about that Night Sun album. That sounds promising. Fight K5 is really good. I think I prefer the raw demo sound since Halford, Travis et al were certainly exploring thrash and hardcore influences on War of Words.

Steve!!!!!!!!!!! YOU BOUGHT MANY CD´S. Thats very cool. I am happy that finaly you bought the last WASP album. I am surprised you dont like the two THE NEON GOD albums because i do but of course, we can not always be the same lol.
I was surprised to see HEAVY LOAD. I have 3 albums by them on vinyl. METAL CONQUEST, STRONGER THAN EVIL and DEATH OR GLORY. DEATH OR GLORY came with a free 7"single and poster. Yes, they were a great band.
I like FOREIGNER too and its nice you bought that solo album.
Its okay to buy sometimes those russian editions. You and me are buying all the time and we deserve some new releases fro good prices lol. But normaly i go for the euro release.
I love MASTERCUTOR and its increible you already found a second hand copie, Its just a great UDO album, like all his albums anyway.
Great buy Steve. Take careeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
