Tale Of The Tape:
Dell DJ 30 (1st gen)
3138 songs (265 full albums)
I was able to get some listening in at work tonight so I fired up my Dell DJ, selected “Play All Tracks”, and hit “Shuffle”. Here are the first 25 songs to come on (band-song-album):

- Judas Priest – Victim Of Changes (Priest In The East)
- Alice Cooper – I Love The Dead (Billion Dollar Babies)
- Dio – Better In The Dark (Killing The Dragon)
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra – The Lost Christmas Eve (The Lost Christmas Eve)
- Pantera – Takin’ My Life (Projects In The Jungle)
- Saxon – Beyond The Grave (Lionheart)
- Q5 – Ain’t No Way To Treat A Lady (Steel The Light)
- MSG – Shadow Lady (Tales Of Rock’n Roll)
- Alice Cooper – Yeah, Yeah, Yeah (Killer)
- KISS – Mr. Speed (Rock’n Roll Over)
- Westworld – Ivory Towers (Westworld)
- Iron Maiden – The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner (Somewhere In Time)
- Surrender – Sunrise Goodbye (Better Late Than Never)
- Quiet Riot – Trouble Again (Down To The Bone)
- Dio – Night Music (Lock Up The Wolves)
- UFO – Unraveled (Covenant)
- Krokus – Flying Through The Night (To Rock Or Not To Be)
- Iron Maiden – Wrathchild (Live After Death)
- Iron Maiden – Wildest Dreams (Death On The Road)
- Vinnie Vincent Invasion – Invincible (Guitars From Hell)
- KISS – Shandi (Unmasked)
- Judas Priest – Love Bites (Defenders Of The Faith)
- Def Leppard – Guilty (Euphoria)
- Wig Wam – Slave To Your Love (Wigwamania)
I like those Westworld tunes alot. That is a killer band. I am hoping to do some reviews on them in future weeks.
Many great songs. I am a big fan of the first 4 PANTERA albums and its cool to see those songs from PROJECTS IN THE JUNGLE album.
Great playlist Steve.
I am listening now to OU812 by VAN HALEN and before EIGHT STAR, the lost album by TONY IOMMI with GLENN HUGHES recorded in 1996 (but oficialy released in 2004). I have the bootleg with DAVE HOLLAND on drums. They got his drum parts done again for the 2004 release because he was arrested for child porno. Dirty fucker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a nice weekend Steve.
I like how TSO is sandwiched between Dio and Pantera.
That’s an entire blog entry in and of itself!

On my way to work I’ve been spinning Lizzy Borden’s Best of, Manowar “Sign of the Hammer”, and Ratt “Out of the Cellar”
The CD version of Exciter’s “Violence & Force” is missing “Evil Sinner” which is an awesome track. Funny, usually CD’s will tack on bonus tracks, not remove them !
Rob – It’s a shame that Westworld is dead in the water, they released 3 great studio albums and a decent live album. Now that Tony Harnell left TNT, I’m hoping Mark reale and Tony will get it back together.
Rene – I have the 2004 release of that Iommi/Hughes record, it’s very good. Dave Holland…..the fact that the underage victim had mental disabilities is even more disturbing.
Michael – Is that the latest CD version of VIOLENCE & FORCE? I swear it was just reissued.
Rhodeislandrock, this one was issued in 2004 by Megaforce Records so perhaps there’s a new re-issue of it.
