Today is Motorhead Day!
I just got back from the local shop with the new album, Kiss Of Death. Nice to get it for $10.
I’ll post a review later in the week.

i’ve had it for a week now, and i’ll be waiting for that review, i’m curious about your opinion of it. :)
I have a friend who has an extra copy of the new Motorhead for me. It will probably be a while until I see him and can get it though. I just pre-ordered the new Maiden. I have never pre-ordered an album before, but I broke down because I am excited about it.
You can’t go wrong with Motorhead. They even published a lengthy advance review of it in one of Germany’s most conservative newspapers giving it the thumbs-up. I was surprised. Now that that has happened, I probably shouldn’t listen to Motorhead anymore. ;)
I remember catching Motorhead at a very small venue when they were getting started. The wall of sound just pushed the entire audience two rows back. I ain’t kiddin’. That concert was literally a blast and a half. I just love that raunchy stuff.
Besides, that looooong roady-scream on “No Sleep ‘Til Hammersmith” has always been my first choice for my personal answering machine message. If you survive and let it play till the end, you really want to talk to me and deserve to be called back.

I picked up the new Motorhead at Wal-Mart. My, how the world has changed. Another great release from a classic band!
