From Blabbermouth.net:
According to MaidenNorway.com, Maidenfans.com relayed a bulletin posted by the Italian MAIDEN fan site http://www.eddies.it claiming the Italian release date of IRON MAIDEN‘s 14th studio album, A Matter of Life and Death, is August 25.
As previously reported, EMI was planning to release the album August 26-28, depending on the coutry. New information, on the other hand, suggests that the Italian release will be August 25 — which is probably more likely as it lands on a Friday rather than a Saturday.
An Italian fan posted the details of the limited-edition double-CD/DVD release on the IMOC (Iron Maiden Online Club) yesterday, as follows:

the first thing that catches my eye is the length of the songs, 6 of them over the 7 minute mark. bring on the epics! :)
I saw the same thing! I like the Maiden epics but sometimes I think they lose some fans attention with the longer songs.
Regardless of the exact date, I know that I’ll be picking this one up as soon as i can get my hands on it! Thanks for keeping us informed.

Maiden, Motorhead, and UFO all have new albums coming between August and September…..I’ll be spending some extra bucks. Maiden is a must buy and I’ll go out and get the Limited edition.
I am interested in the ones from Maiden, Motorhead, Slayer and Mastodon. This year is starting to remind me of 1990. In that not a lot of great albums came out between January and July, but then between August and October great new releases came out from Judas Priest, Megadeth, Anthrax, King Diamond and Kreator. It was like the best albums of the year all came out at once.
